Wine firstThe Guatambu Resort, in Dom Pedrito, in the region of the Gaúcha Campaign, is a family company that has been active in agribusiness since 1958. Currently, under the command of the third generation, the company, seeking to diversify its product line, began in 2003 a project aimed at the production of grapes. This project involved the implementation of a vineyard with imported seedlings from France and Italy.
In 2013, the resort inaugurated a significant landmark in the Pampa region: one of the most beautiful and well-structured Brazilian wineries. The name of the winery, Guatambu, is a tribute to the farm and refers to a large Brazilian tree, known for its robustness and resistance.
The winery was awarded the Solar Seal, a distinction promoted by the IDEAL Institute with the support of the WWF-Brazil and the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development, through GIZ and KfW. This seal recognizes the installation of a solar park that meets 100% of the energy demand for wine production, making the process fully sustainable.
In this experience, you will explore the process of producing wines and sparkling wines, from the initial management of the grapes to the ripening of the wines, passing through the cellar of bottles, the cellar of barricades, the pupitres and, finally, observing the degorgement, in a privileged view of the finalization of the sparkling wines.
The winery boasts environments that merge charm, cutting-edge infrastructure and advanced technology, allowing production of limited lots. The meticulous care at each stage of the process results in high quality products. During the exclusive tour, guided by a specialist winemaker, you will have the opportunity to taste 4 award-winning Guatambu labels, including a white wine, a sparkling wine, a premium red wine and the wine icon, the Epic VII.
