The Knowing Trail provides experiences, feelings and thoughts related to nature and its preservation. It has become a unique opportunity to integrate classroom theory with the practice of visiting the track, offering several activities:
Ecological Walk in Native Forest:
- Observation of native vegetation (echosystem) and preserved nature.
- Comparison between reforestation forests and native ones.
- Observation of birds and other animals, exploring the fauna and flora.
- Relaxed climate for a closer experience of nature.
Nature Sounds: Perception of natural sounds such as wind and leaves, and comparison with the sounds of the urban environment.
Botany: Study of plants, fruit trees, ornamentals, natives, reforestation areas and traditional agriculture, lichens, ecological balance and environmental preservation areas.
The displacement of the property to the trail is done with the use of agricultural tractor and cart, traversing a route of 1 km. Along the way, visitors have the opportunity to contemplate the diversity of vegetation and geological formation, with two natural viewpoints, one facing the West and the other toward the East, offering a panoramic view of the Laguna dos Patos, far 36 km straight.
