The Turvo State Park, administered by Macuco Yucumã, is located in the municipality of Derrubadas, in the northwest of the state, bordering Argentina and Santa Catarina. It is the first and largest conservation unit of the Rio Grande do Sul, with 17,491 hectares of pure nature.
The site is one of the last refuges of species such as harpy, painted ounce, anta, among other animals. There, it is common to find large plant species, such as grapia, canafístula, cedar and angico.
You can also know the Jump of the Yucumã, a set of simply stunning waterfalls, considered the most extensive longitudinal fall in the world, with 1800 meters. The powerful sound and mist curtain that rises from the waters create a magical atmosphere that captivates all visitors.
