Jaguar Trail - Macuco Yucumã

Immersive nature and breathtaking landscapes in the heart of Rio Grande do Sul.

The Turvo State Park, administered by Macuco Yucumã, is located in the municipality of Derrubadas, in the northwest of the state, bordering Argentina and Santa Catarina. It is the first and largest conservation unit of the Rio Grande do Sul, with 17,491 hectares of pure nature.

The site is one of the last refuges of species such as harpy, painted ounce, anta, among other animals. There, it is common to find large plant species, such as grapia, canafístula, cedar and angico.

You can also know the Jump of the Yucumã, a set of simply stunning waterfalls, considered the most extensive longitudinal fall in the world, with 1800 meters. The powerful sound and mist curtain that rises from the waters create a magical atmosphere that captivates all visitors.

A trail to explore an animal rarely found in the state. You will learn about the habits and behaviors of the jaguars, the biggest cats in the Americas, who found their habitat in the Turvo State Park.

It has an average duration of 45 minutes, if only half or 1h15 minutes, if complete, with follow-up and environmental information carried out by the eco track driver.
