The full visit includes a tour of up to two and a half hours through the facilities of the Campestre Winery, with wine tasting and sparkling wines.
The tour starts from the outside area, walking through the vineyards of different grapes. Then you will be led to the stone tree, which symbolizes the cork that is stamped on the labels of the fine Zanotto wines, and will also meet a beautiful stone chapel, a small temple inspired by the Italian buildings.
The winery has museums that tell a lot about its history and also about the place where fine and sparkling wines are being produced. The first part of the visit is made in an outdoor museum, which is in a shed. There is told part of the history of the project by means of treadmills that separated wheat and corn and old wagons that carried tons of grapes and wine in bulk.
The last stop is at the Wine Museum. Inside the winery building, the visitor knows a little about the history of Campestre and winemaking in Rio Grande do Sul.
The tourist enters from the great wooden kite and finds many elements that tell the history of the ancestors who devoted themselves to the cultivation of the grape. One of the most interesting moments of the visit is the presentation on the importance of Italian immigration in the wine world. The tour ends with tasting up to 5 wineries.
