For the whole familyThe history of Apiário Cambará began in May 1982, with Mr. Irineu Castilhos, photographer in Cambará do Sul at the time. Inspired by a TV report on beekeeping, he decided to start the activity with 50 bee boxes.
Over the course of more than 30 years, Apiário Cambará has been an ambassador of the honey of Cambará do Sul, renowned for its incomparable taste and for the totally natural origin in the native forest, being an organic honey by nature.
Today, Apiário, also known as Casa do Mel, was the first agroindustry in the city to receive the quality seal of the Municipal Inspection Service (SIM). In addition to honey, visitors can purchase souvenirs and products related to bee protection, thus expanding the experience offered by the site.
The Honey Ride is a fascinating journey of discoveries! In it, you dive into the intriguing local beekeeping universe, exploring the secrets behind honey production in the region.
In addition, you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious picnic, full of honey-based products, and taste a variety of honeys produced in the city.
This authentic experience is a real immersion in the land of the Canyons, offering a chance to get to know the work of local beekeepers and taste some of the best honeys in Brazil.
