The Valmarino Winery is a landmark in Pinto Bandeira, in Serra Gaúcha. To those who are on their way to garimpar unique wines and sparkling wines, a visit there is a must. They are a national reference in the planting and vinification of the Cabernet Franc grape and the result of this commitment are memorable wines.
The Italian tradition of cultivating grapes and making the wine itself, was transmitted from father to son since the arrival of the family patriarch, in 1878, in the municipality of Bento Gonçalves, located in Serra Gaúcha. Oenologist Orval Salton, a third generation member of the Salton family, realized his dream by founding the Valmarino Winery Establishment in 1997. Love to land, passion and dedication to vineyards are the factors responsible for the recognition of the quality of Valmarino products.
Among the wineries reference products is the red sparkling, an Extra Brut produced by the traditional method with the Pinot Noir and Sangiovese grapes.
