The Restaurant and Parrilla Vineria Gran José began as a small trade and, over time, became a real reference of Uruguayan cuisine. Gradually, the dishes and wine tastings began to dominate the space, revealing a deep passion for the gastronomy of Uruguay.
The site gained shape and personality with the collaboration of friends and an incessant search for gastronomic excellence. Currently, Vineria Gran José accommodates 70 customers and features a vast menu that includes a variety of fish and meat prepared in the traditional parrilla.
The menu is complemented by a selection of pastas and a judicious wine menu, designed to satisfy even the most refined palates, always maintaining an excellent balance between quality and cost-effectiveness for customers.
A gastronomy that has full influence on the gaucho dishes is certainly Uruguayan. To celebrate this successful union, the restaurant created the Carnes experience made in Parrilla. In it, you can enjoy selected and prepared gaucho meats in the parrilla in the best Uruguayan style.
With 23 years of experience, the site enjoys the quality of the products and the special preparation of baking the barbecue, with all the hospitality of the Gaucho people. In addition, among the options of Gran José you will also find dishes like pasta and fish, all done on time.
