The ClassicsOne of the most classic restaurants in Porto Alegre and the oldest in the state, Gambrinus is located in the City Public Market, one of the main tourist spots in the capital. Open since 1889, the restaurant offers a menu focused on Portuguese cuisine, paying homage to the settlers of the country.

If you are in the city and like seafood, this is the place you need to visit. In Gambrinus you will find delicacies such as congro and linguad fillet to shrimp sauce, plus salmon fillet with capers and champignon.
The restaurant is also a meeting point for a happy hour at the end of the day with classic cod dumplings, typical regional dishes and a national and imported wine list.
