How to get there:

You need to start by knowing that the cities of Serra Gaúcha, mostly, had no damage as hard as other cities or regions, such as the Taquari Valley, Porto Alegre or metropolitan region. So you can live experiences with ease in the region.

By land, moving around the interior of the state, some roads have total or partial blocking points. But there are alternative routes to access all cities.

Regional airports with flight options are spread across Rio Grande do Sul.

To access Serra, give preference to landing in Caxias do Sul, which is close to the main tourist destinations of Serra Gaúcha and is receiving extra flights. The route from the city to the Vale dos Vinhedos lasts about an hour and even Gramado lasts about two hours.

If you prefer, there is still the possibility of landing in Florianópolis. The companies Gol, Latam and VoePass have expanded the offer of flights and seats to meet the demands.

Canoas Air Base is receiving commercial flight operations as an alternative to Porto Alegre International Airport (Salgado Filho).

The processing of passengers for check-in, baggage dispatch, shipment and landing is being carried out at the Passenger Terminal of Porto Alegre International Airport since 15/07. Salgado Filho Airport will again operate national flights from 21 October, while international flights are scheduled for December.

The companies areas can already carry out ticket sales to Salgado Filho. The authorization was announced by the Federal Government on 09/08 and since then, the companies are already conducting sales for flights at the airport.
