How to get there:

  • From Porto Alegre: The trip lasts about 1h30 by the BR-116 until Novo Hamburgo and then by the RS-235. There are regular bus lines from Porto Alegre to Nova Petrópolis.
     
  • From Caxias do Sul: The trip lasts about 1h by the RS-122 and RS-235. There are also bus lines available from Caxias do Sul to Nova Petrópolis.
     
  • By plane: The nearest airport is Salgado Filho International Airport in Porto Alegre. From there, you can rent a car or take a bus to New Petropolis.
